BPS DealerDesk ("we", "our", or "us") values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, and stored when you use the BPS DealerDesk mobile application.
By using this application, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
a) Login Information
When you log in, your username and credentials are used solely to authenticate your identity. Your business profile details (distributor/dealer name, ID, and account type) are displayed within the app for personalisation and functionality.
b) Push Notification Token
When notification permission is granted, a Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) device token is generated and sent to our server. This token is used only to deliver push notifications related to your orders and business updates.
c) Business Data
The app displays business data fetched from the BPS server based on your account. The following data is created by you through the app and stored on the server:
- Orders – orders you place are saved and tracked
- Notifications – notifications sent to you are stored and marked as read/unread
- Wishlist – products you save to your wishlist are stored against your account
Products and catalogue data are only displayed to you and are not collected from you.
No sensitive personal information such as government IDs, financial account numbers, precise GPS location, camera, microphone, or contacts data is collected.

Collected information is used only to:
- Authenticate your identity and maintain a secure login session
- Display your business profile, products, orders, and notifications
- Process and record orders placed through the app
- Deliver push notifications for orders and updates
- Save your wishlist across sessions
- Improve app performance and fix issues
4. Data Storage and Security
- All communication between the app and our server is protected using HTTPS encryption.
- We do not sell, rent, or misuse user information.
5. Data Sharing
We do not share user data with third parties, except:
- Firebase (Google) – Your FCM device token is shared with Firebase solely to route push notifications to your device. No other personal data is shared with Google through this app.
- Legal obligations – When required by law or governmental authority.
6. User Control
Users can:
- Grant or revoke notification permission via device Settings at any time
- View and manage their business profile from within the app
- Log out at any time
- Uninstall the app at any time
7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal and operational reasons. Continued use of the app after the updated policy has been published indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
